A track record of successes
Bridge House Day Care Limited was established
in 2000 to provide a unique day care service for people recovering
from life changing events, usually physical harm or surgery, serious
long term conditions and particularly, shattered self confidence.
We believe we are the only day centre in the UK with:
- 100% track record of clients completing their agreed schedule of care
- 100% attendance by clients
- accreditation from two health authorities
- Investors in People
- only full time staff - who really care, all of whom have been with us many years
Our clients are under 65 years old. We are a
not-for-profit organisation.
We specialise in helping younger people
with dementia, but most conditions are considered.
Our clients live
or stay in the local area (not at the centre), sometimes making
an initial visit for a taster day with a close family member
or carer.
Bridge House is not a clinical centre, rather it is a friendly
and welcoming country house, feeling somewhere between home
and a hotel. It is peacefully situated in a hamlet a mile from
a major route and close to the thriving centre of Telford. |

We regularly care for clients on behalf of our
nearest health authorities, the Borough of Telford & Wrekin,
and Shrewsbury and Atcham Council. Often our clients are private
individuals coming for example from Stafford, Wolverhampton and
the rest of the West Midlands.
